As a new mom, I was definitely not bored, but I was a little isolated for those first few weeks. Stroller Boot Camp was the first scheduled event I made it to with my newborn and was my first routine interaction with other new moms. 

I’ve made some great friends at Boot Camp and so has my daughter. They shared in her milestones (like her first steps and her first birthday), and we get to share in theirs (including new pregnancies and second babies now!)

I’ve lost all of my baby weight and more, and am now more fit and active than I have ever been. I like Boot Camp so much that I actually planned my work schedule around it. It gives me extra time with my daughter and keeps me healthy, social and happy.

"I started going to stroller boot camp twice a week when my daughter was 3 months old, with the goal of increasing my strength and energy and having some time to connect with other moms. 

When she was a baby, my daughter enjoyed getting out and was entertained just watching everyone at boot camp.

 Now that she’s a toddler, she loves running around and playing with the other kids.

Over a year later, I’m in the best shape of I’ve ever been in! I enjoy the variety in the boot camp workouts, and I feel great about the major improvements in my energy, strength, and overall fitness.

What you need to know:

  • Baby + Kid Friendly Boot Camp combines cardioscular conditioning, balance and core work to provide you with a full body workout. 
  • Benefit from the camaraderie of other moms, dads, and grandparents in the community as you tone your muscles, improve your endurance and boost your energy levels!
  • Each workout will include a warm-up (power walking, light dynamic exercises), cardio exercises (power walking, possibly some running and/or plyometrics), strength exercises (squats, lunges, push-ups, and resistance band exercise), core stability exercises, balance training and stretching.

  • Bring everything you need for your little one(s). Kids of all ages are welcome (and yes... it can get a little crazy!)
  • All fitness levels are welcome- even if you're brand new to exercise!
  • New moms should be at least 4-6 weeks post-partum before starting the class and have doctor's clearance to exercise.
  • Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:30AM. We are currently inside at the studio and will move outdoors once the weather gets consistently better!
  • The 8 Week Kid Friendly Boot Camp session is $199 + GST. Next session starts March 27th!
